I was baptized at the United Methodist Church of Weston and Wilton by Pastor Ed Horne. Lucy is my God-mother. Afterwards we had a big party at my place and a birthday cake with lots of friends and champagne. I turned one year-old on Monday February 19th.
On Friday February 22nd I met Dr Greenstein, my pediatric geneticist at UConn. I am doing well, making milestones and putting on weight. March will be an eventful month. On the 29th I have the first fund raiser for my charity in Greenwich, Connecticut at Miller Motor Cars. Prof. Mobley is speaking and Emily Perl Kingsley is also coming. I have my own page on the Lucille Packard Children’s Fund web site so that visitors can contribute to research into Down syndrome.
My friends Isabella and Catherine are joining me for the fund raiser. Pari is chairing the event. Cyndi and Richard are hosting it and my Mamma and Isabella’s Mamma, Markley are the co-chairs. Ringo Starr and Zak Starkey (drummer for the Who and Oasis) signed a drum skin for my benefit and the Mitchells have contributed gift certificates. I am a very lucky baby to have so many people helping me.
