I haven’t written anything since my last entry in February 2009. That doesn’t mean that I have been lying low. I have just had too much fun to have time to sit down and write about it. The highlights were a trip to France in July with my sisters and Mamma and Poppy. The best part was eating ice-cream every day. The wine is definitely over-rated compared to the ice-cream and the croissants. And I love baguettes. When I came home, I went to a summer school program and every day I got to ride on a little yellow bus.
I am now back at North Street School with my teacher Jacqueline. No sooner had I started school than I was yanked out for one week to go to England with Mamma and Poppy. This time I went to the Down Syndrome Education International Headquarters in Portsmouth to meet Sue Buckley and Julie the head therapist. I had a great time and came home with lots of educational aids to help me read and speak. This trip also coincided with the publication of my autobiography which was written with a little help from Poppy. Last night the whole family had dinner at the Picnic Bistro at 101st and Broadway in Manhattan, to celebrate the publication of my Book and E! Channel paid for the dinner and filmed us having fun. Hopefully you will see us on TV. Check out my home page for links to my book.
