In February I had three big dates. My tonsils were finally taken out on February 2nd by Dr Karis at Yale Medical Center. I did just fine sucking my icicle in the recovery room.
On the 17th February I started at my new school in Greenwich which was a great success. I do the ‘rounds’ every day on the way to the classroom with my usual ritual of ‘meeting and greeting’ the teachers in their faculty office and in the administration before stopping at the water fountain. Two days later I got to share cream cakes with little ‘maracas’ with all my class-mates because it was my third birthday. That same evening we had a family party with my God-mother, Lucy, who is visiting from England, and Me-Mum and here her now husband ‘Peko’ Frank.
I have new words. The most important one is ‘Me” when I lift my hand up to make sure I get my share of anything good. The most recent ones are Pee-Pee and Poo-Poo and although I am sitting on the potty, I haven’t quite figured it out yet. My favourite program is ‘Dora the Explorer’ and I have a big Dora doll in my room. Summer is coming and I plan to spend a lot of time outside running around. I also like to take my dog, Clementine for walks.
